Medical-dental integration, powered by AI

See the whole patient before you treat.

OneDMI pulls each patient's medical history and active prescriptions from their physicians' records, brings them into your practice management system, and checks every treatment plan for risks before the patient sits down.

Health history forms depend on what patients remember. Their physicians' records and pharmacy fills don't.

How it works

From four disconnected records to one chairside answer.

01

Connect

Add the API keys for your patients' medical record systems and for your dental PMS. No hardware, no new charting.

02

Aggregate

OneDMI matches each patient across sources and merges conditions, allergies, labs and active prescriptions into one profile, removing duplicates.

03

Plan

Write the treatment plan in your PMS the way you do today, from a D1110 prophy to a full-arch implant case.

04

Alert

AI reviews every planned procedure against the patient's profile and flags risks by severity, with the reasoning and a recommended next step.

HighD7210 #19 × apixaban 5 mg BID

Bleeding risk: surgical extraction on a direct oral anticoagulant

Cardiology record lists apixaban for atrial fibrillation, last filled Oct 2, 2026. Stopping a DOAC raises stroke risk and usually isn't needed for dental surgery.

Recommended: Don't stop apixaban without the prescriber. Coordinate procedure timing with cardiology, limit the extent of surgery per visit, and use local hemostatic measures (sutures, oxidized cellulose, tranexamic acid mouthwash).

Inside an alert

Every flag shows its source and reasoning.

1

Severity you can scan

High, Caution or Info, so the morning huddle starts with the patients who need attention.

2

The exact trigger

Which procedure and which medication, condition or lab value produced the alert, and which record it came from.

3

A next step, with a reference

Recommendations cite the clinical guidance behind them. You decide, acknowledge, and the note is saved to the chart.

What's included

Built for the way dental teams actually work.

Medication reconciliation

Active prescriptions from physicians and pharmacy fills, merged and de-duplicated, with prescriber and last-fill date.

Labs in context

A1c, INR and blood pressure shown next to the procedures they affect, with the date of each reading.

Premedication guidance

Flags when antibiotic prophylaxis is indicated, which regimen fits the patient's allergies, and when it's not needed.

Morning huddle report

Every patient on today's schedule, sorted by risk, ready before the first patient arrives.

Acknowledgement trail

Who reviewed each alert, when, and what was decided, written back to the patient's chart.

Built for groups

One login across locations, with risk trends by office, provider and procedure for clinical leadership.

Integrations

Security

Patient data handled like protected health information, because it is.

OneDMI is designed around HIPAA's Security Rule, with access limited to the minimum necessary for treatment.

Read about security
  • Business Associate Agreement signed with every practice.
  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
  • Role-based access and multi-factor sign-in for every user.
